About the 10"
-"I've always loved vinyl as a media, the look, the feel, the perfect mechanical simplicity with which the music unfolds when placing the needle directly onto the engraved waveforms.
Likewise I've often cursed its sonic limitations, having done vinyls that just sound horribly muddy and void of hi-frequency splendor. This was a personal endeavor to hear how good a vinyl could sound when battling a digital source that's leaning heavily on the walls of the 44.1kHz sampling theorem as it is. After a bit of research I was off to meet Lupo at Dub-plates and Mastering in Berlin, The original plan was to cut a 7", but this was quickly dismissed as a 7" wouldn't cope well at all, with the sonic spectra we where trying to feed it. After overheating the SAL 74b Neumann cutting machine twice, ruining 2 sides of a lacquer in the process. The two tracks where finally laid down and later pressed, hi-quality, in Germany.
Employing the amazing art talent of Noah and Brian at ‘Keep Adding’ to top off the release, the result is the deluxe limited edition 10" you now hold in your hands.”
